About Muhammed
Hi, I’m Muhammed, a biochemistry student at McMaster University and a former high school tutor with over 200 hours of one-on-one and group teaching experience. I’ve helped students in grades 9 through 12 master subjects like math, chemistry, and physics by breaking down complex ideas into simple, step-by-step lessons. My approach is patient, clear, and tailored to your needs. Whether you’re preparing for exams, struggling with certain topics, or just looking to boost your confidence in class, I’ll meet you where you’re at and guide you forward with structure and encouragement. Every lesson is built around your learning style, with a mix of explanation, practice, and review to make sure things actually stick. As a tutor, I focus on making things simple, relatable, and structured. I believe that anyone can understand tough subjects like math, physics, and chemistry if they’re explained clearly and step-by-step. I start by figuring out where you’re stuck or unsure, and then I build lessons around that, using examples, practice problems, and tips that make sense based on how you learn best.
A typical session starts with a quick check-in to review past material, then we tackle one main topic with clear goals for the session. I make sure we work through problems together before you try some on your own. I’m also happy to help with homework, test prep, or reviewing class content.
What sets me apart is that I’ve not only tutored over 200 hours in high school science and math, I’ve also done real lab research and competed in science competitions. So I bring both strong academic skills and practical understanding into our lessons. I also founded a tutoring program at my school, so I know how to adapt to different students’ needs.
These lessons are best for high school students (grades 9–12) taking Ontario curriculum courses in math, physics, or chemistry. Whether you’re looking to improve your marks, catch up, or stay ahead, I’ll make sure the lessons are focused and helpful.
