About Mahima
For the past 5 years I have tutored students from year 5 to A-levels. I have tutored students for the 11+ exam and they have all gotten into their chosen grammar school. With GCSE and A-levels all the students improved their grade by understanding concepts and not just memorising them which also caused a positive impact for further study.

The basis of my teaching is to improve fundamental concepts in the subject which will then in turn improve the understanding of questions so you are not just memorising an answer for one question. A typical tutor session would include going over work previously done, so to learn where the mistakes come from and why they are made, the majority of time would be working together through concepts and then questions and then after the session a few questions for "homework" to solidify your knowledge and understanding. It is also possible that after a few sessions a mini test can be given to practice under time constraint and without notes in an exam environment.

If the home is hard to reach by public transport there may be an excess fee that would not exceed £7. To cancel a lesson I need to be contacted at least 24 hrs in advance otherwise you may still be charged in full for the lesson.
