About Isabella
Hi! My name is Isabella and I am currently studying biochemistry at the University of Exeter. I am from Italy but I've lived on almost every continent in France, Libya, Alaska, Texas, Canada, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai. This has nurtured a passion for travelling, meeting new people, and immersing myself in different cultures. My interest in maths and science began when I started participating in various competitions including FutureCity, ExploraVision, and the science fair. Having struggled with some topics in maths and science myself, I realised that it was not the content that I had trouble with, but how I was taught it in a classroom of people with a variety of unique learning needs. Adjusting my methods of study to fit my own understanding resulted in me being successful in those areas. It would be my pleasure to help you excel in your chosen GCSE or A-level subjects!

Having been a tutor for more than 6 years for GCSE and A level students, I do not believe in a 'one size fits all' approach to tutoring. The first lesson is an opportunity for me, as your tutor, to get to know you, the areas of the subject you have difficulty with, and your learning style. The following lessons, typically lasting one hour, will consist of interactive activities tailored to your individual needs designed to strengthen your critical thinking and problem solving skills, whilst deepening your understanding of the subject.
