About Leyla
I am a Biological Sciences student with a strong background in Maths, Sciences and English. As I studied them not long ago I understand the new changes to the exam style and can help you get around that using important exam techniques and mastering the content.
I have been tutoring for several years now beginning at my Sixth form where I tutored GCSE maths students, giving them the knowledge and guidance they needed at every step.

My teaching method is to first master the content and to ensure every topic is fully understood before moving on. I would make sure I explain everything in a way that suits the learner for example visual learners prefer images and diagrams to aid their learning.
After this practise questions would be done to learn how to apply the content learned. Then we would move to past papers which are very crucial as they are very similar to the actual exam. We would work through them, marking them for any mistakes and gong through any topics that need further explaining. I would then recommend a cycle of learning the content and doing past papers.
Finally I would produce a revision schedule in conjunction with the student as procrastination and inactivity is a major obstabcle in revision.
