About PUSHPA
Hi, I’m Pushpa! I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Genetic Engineering and an MSc in Developmental Biology, with over three years of research experience at the University of Cambridge.
I enjoy helping students make sense of topics that initially feel complicated. Having tutored both primary-school and sixth-form students and led practical science activities for children, I understand the importance of patience, encouragement and keeping learning engaging.
I aim to create a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building confidence in Maths and Biology.

My lessons focus on understanding rather than memorising. I use clear explanations, diagrams and practice questions, adapting to each student’s pace and attention span. Lessons typically last one hour and are suitable for GCSE and A-level Maths and Biology students.
I have previously tutored primary-school and sixth-form students and led practical science activities for children aged up to 12. I also hold an MSc in Developmental Biology and have over three years of research experience at the University of Cambridge.
