About Oluwaseun
I am a graduate of Biology and Education from Lagos State University. While I was in my sophomore year, I did my teaching practice at a public school, Iju Senior Grammar School, where I taught Biology. I was able to spark the interest of students who had no interest in Biology by applying ethno-cultural practices and peer tutoring to teach them, after I realized that the students found it hard to relate with most of the topics they were taught. The school recorded a 100% success rate in Biology for that term that I taught the students. This experience not only honed my teaching skills but taught me the importance of empathy, communication, and teamwork. I learned that effective teaching isn't just about imparting knowledge, but also understanding, and connecting with your students.

I apply ethno-cultural approach, and also peer tutoring as teaching strategies. I can teach for 80 minutes at a stretch. I did my teaching practice at Iju Senior Grammar School for a period of 3 months where I used these strategies and the school recorded a 100% success in Biology for that term. I teach students that are preparing for O'level examinations.
