About Samantha
I have taught biology and environmental science at the college prep and AP/UConn ECE level for ten years. I am passionate about getting students excited about science and helping them make advanced connections among the content. My students earn excellent grades on standardized tests (ACT, AP, etc) and report back that they feel like they are much more prepared for college courses than their peers when they enter competitive colleges and universities.

I aim to make all of my students feel welcomed and loved because I believe all students can succeed in a safe and respectful learning environment. My goal is to help students discover the interdisciplinary nature of science in order for them to develop a deep understanding of the content.
