About Joseph
There were times as a high school student where I struggled with subjects like math and chemistry. I never believed I was smart enough for science let alone medicine. However, I had a few teachers who saw something in me and helped me to understand in a way that made things "click". Once that happened I started to believe I could do better. It was a long journey for me, but I know you can do this too. I have a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine and as a student, was a tutor (Anatomy) and TA (Histology) in medical school. More recently, I have taught Human Biology at Eastern CT State University, and taught General Biology, Anatomy and Physiology 1, and Human Biology at Three Rivers Community College as well. I have been working with CREC as an Associate Instructor at the high school level and am comfortable working with students at all levels of understanding and backgrounds. The hardest step is finding help. It all gets easier after that. Good luck in your Journey!
