About Amara
I am a current sophomore at Johns Hopkins University, though I have been a tutor throughout my entire high school experience. I have helped students better understand nearly any subject in the math and science fields, from trigonometry to calculus, from honors chemistry to organic chemistry.

I use an auditory approach, nearly lecture style, for teaching. However, students are always able to ask questions, and my lessons are very flexible such that I can deviate to answer any question the student may have. Plus, I don’t require anyone to take notes—instead, I send out practice problems and the notes we took during our session.
