With a degree from UW-Madison and years spent in both classrooms and after-school clubs, I have a knack for connecting with students of every kind. I love supporting nervous first-timers, ensuring nobody feels “left behind,” and helping you discover that biology can actually be your favorite class. If you’ve ever felt biology was way over your head, I’m here to turn it into your comfort zone! My sessions are built for real beginners, making every step clear and memorable, whether you’re in high school or tackling your first college science class. We focus on building understanding through curiosity—starting with the world around you, and letting your questions guide our journey. You get to pause, rethink, and retrace as much as you need; stories, real-life analogies, and active problem-solving are woven into every lesson, keeping learning friendly and alive.
At the end of every class, we check what you’ve truly learned—sometimes by “teaching it back,” sometimes with a quick quiz or a fun challenge (“show biology in your lunch!”). The point is real progress: you see your confidence grow, your grades improve, and you know you’re not missing anything important.
