When I teach I follow the outline of what is expected to be taught for that subject by the school district I am working for. I follow the textbook that is recommended by the school district for that subject. I usually have the students each read out loud a paragraph from a section of a chapter and briefly explain the importance of what they read when we complete reading that section. Students complete section worksheet(s) and we go over all the answers before the period's end.
