About Alannah
Hi! I'm Alannah, and I live in the QC area. I offer tutoring in any science field from chemistry, to physics, to earth science, but biology is my favorite by far! I am a biology education major and plan to obtain my Master's degree in the next two years. I currently teach at Iowa State University where I work as supplemental instruction tutor for animal and molecular biology. I have taken cell biology, anatomy, physiology, pathology, microbiology, animal biology, genetics, and more! I will be a TA next semester in a genetics lab. I am happy to work on ACT science prep too or AP biology preparation!

I use interactive learning strategies to teach! At Iowa State, my students don't just learn from one textbook. Instead, we read the book while also watching interactive videos, discussing the material, taking practice quizzes, and filling out worksheets. I am passionate about biology so I want to apply it to the real world and help students find the same joy in the subject.
