About Rebecca
Hi! I’m Rebecca, a science graduate with a strong passion for helping students understand and enjoy science. I know that subjects like biology, chemistry, and general science can sometimes feel overwhelming, so my goal is to make complex topics clear, engaging, and easier to understand.
I enjoy working with students to build their confidence and help them develop strong problem-solving and exam skills. Every student learns differently, so I tailor my teaching style to suit each individual and focus on areas where they need the most support.
My aim is not just to help students pass exams, but to help them genuinely understand the science behind what they are learning. I create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.
I work with primary, GCSE, and A-level students and support them with understanding key concepts, revision strategies, and exam preparation.

My tutoring approach is focused on building confidence, understanding, and exam success. I break down complex scientific concepts into clear, simple explanations and use practice questions to reinforce learning and improve exam technique. Lessons are interactive and tailored to each student’s needs, whether they require help understanding difficult topics or preparing for exams.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and includes reviewing previous material, working through key concepts, and practising exam-style questions. I also provide strategies to help students approach questions logically and maximise their marks.
I have a strong academic background in science and experience explaining scientific concepts in an engaging and accessible way. My lessons are suitable for students studying science at primary, GCSE, or A-level, particularly those following the Northern Ireland curriculum.
