I have always loved STEM subjects, culminating in my graduation from Oregon State University with a B.S. in Biology. I have years of tutoring experience through the high school level, and successful outcomes to show for it. I believe a love of learning is within reach of every student.

I believe teachers need to be good listeners. Asking the right questions of a student is more important to the learning process than dictating the "right" answers. At the end of the day, students learn the most when they make their own connections. I will always listen to my students and work with what they bring to the table.
