About Aria
My fascination with biology began from a young age when I observed natural systems and wondered how life functions at cellular and ecological levels. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.Sc in Molecular Biology followed by an M.Sc in Life Sciences, providing a solid foundation in both theoretical and experimental biology. Over the past 9 years, I have taught students across all levels, focusing on building confidence, analytical skills, and a genuine appreciation for life sciences. I teach with patience, clarity, and structured support, ensuring students feel comfortable exploring complex topics. I employ diagrams, interactive exercises, and real-world examples to make abstract concepts more accessible. Many students who initially feel overwhelmed eventually develop confidence and a deep understanding of biological processes, as well as curiosity to explore further. Outside teaching, I stay engaged with biology by reading research articles, observing ecological systems, and exploring laboratory projects. This allows me to bring current, practical examples into lessons and inspire students to see the relevance of biology in both academics and everyday life. Teaching biology is fulfilling because I witness students gain confidence and curiosity about the living world.

Biology becomes more engaging when students understand the intricate connections between cellular processes, human physiology, ecosystems, and environmental systems. In my lessons, I focus on topics such as cell structure and function, genetics, molecular biology, physiology, ecology, evolution, and conservation principles. I use visual models, real-life examples, and interactive reasoning exercises to help learners grasp concepts deeply and apply them beyond the classroom. Lesson content is tailored to the student’s level. Beginners focus on cell basics, anatomy, and simple ecological concepts. Intermediate learners explore molecular mechanisms, biochemical processes, inheritance, and energy flow in ecosystems. Advanced learners tackle molecular genetics, experimental analysis, ecological interactions, and critical thinking exercises that require interpretation of data and research-based problem-solving. Each session emphasises understanding, inquiry, and reasoning skills to foster both confidence and scientific curiosity. Biology lessons also help students develop analytical thinking, observation, and critical evaluation skills. By connecting theory to the world around them, learners begin to appreciate life sciences as a logical and fascinating field. My goal is to help students feel empowered, curious, and capable of understanding complex biological systems while building a foundation for advanced study.
