About Ilan
I have a bachelor's of science in biology, and took several semesters of math and engineering course. Graduating from UMD with High Honors from the biology department, I continued to work in a research lab on campus after graduating. I tutored middle school and high school students in many subjects while I was in college.

My purpose as a tutor is to help kids succeed in school, while also building learning skills to help them succeed in the future. I believe the best way to start learning is by understanding the context of a topic, and its relevance to your life. Once a student understands these things and develops general problem solving skills, they can approach any subject with confidence and directed focus.
