About Gabrielle
In high school, I graduated at the top of my class. Now, I am a Biology major at the University of Texas at Austin. I would love to share my passion for the natural sciences and mathematics by help students grow and reach their goals in those subjects as well.

I teach students from grade school to high school. My teachings are based on workbooks for their current grade level or the content the student is currently learning in school. First, I go over and explain the material we will be covering for the day.
For mathematics, I explain the topic then demonstrate a few practice problems. After that, I explain the general steps needed to correctly answer that type of question. The student will then answer practice problems with guidance, then eventually on their own. After that, we go over the problems that the student got wrong and go through the problem together. Depending on the student's skills, we may have a day to focus on basic math to increase efficiency and decrease the reliance on calculators.
For sciences such as biology and chemistry, the student and I will go over short readings or handouts. After that, we go over the new ideas and information to ensure that the student understands. Practice problems over the content will then be completed. Together, we will go over the questions the student got wrong.
In the next session, the student will do similar problems to the one they got wrong to strengthen their skills.

Details
Students at higher academic levels will have an increased rate of $15.00 per hour. The parent or student must cancel before 24 hours of the upcoming lesson. If the session is canceled within the 24 hour period, there will be a cancellation fee of $15.00.
