About Anya
I am a premedical student studying Biology with a strong passion for teaching. Through my studies, I have developed a solid understanding of scientific concepts, effective learning strategies, and the discipline required to master challenging material.
I enjoy breaking down complex topics into clear, understandable explanations and tailoring my approach to each student's learning style.
As someone who is still actively engaged in higher education, I understand the challenges students face and can relate to the demands of coursework, exams, and effective study planning. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and reaching their academic goals.

My teaching approach is student-centered, interactive, and focused on long-term understanding rather than memorization. I incorporate evidence-based learning strategies such as active recall, spaced repetition, and guided problem-solving to help students retain information effectively and build confidence in applying their knowledge.
During lessons, I encourage students to explain concepts in their own words, answer targeted questions, and work through examples independently before receiving guidance. This approach strengthens critical thinking skills and helps identify knowledge gaps early. I also adapt my teaching style to each student's learning preferences, pace, and goals.
