Motivated and knowledgable science lover. I am very active in my everyday life!! I enjoy coaching and playing soccer. I play in coed and women's leagues in my area. I also enjoy coaching track and field; sprints, jumps and hurdles. Fitness and wellness are very important to me. I like to integrate my science background and education to helping maintain a healthy and fit lifestyle. I like connecting with new people and learning about their experiences.

Throughout my career as an academician, I have come to understand the importance of providing students with an engaging, collaborative atmosphere. It is important to implement integrative and inquiry based learning techniques to allow students opportunities to explore knowledge, which will be valuable not only for science but also applicable to a student's life and career. Additionally, I believe it important to provide lessons which are structured yet flexible to meet the individualized needs of students.
