About Wren
My fascination with living systems began early, driving me to pursue a B.Sc in Life Sciences and an M.Sc in Molecular Biology. Over 11 years of teaching, I have worked with learners ranging from beginners to advanced students, helping them grasp complex biological concepts, develop analytical skills, and apply their knowledge in practical and research contexts.
I emphasize clarity, hands-on learning, and a structured approach. Many learners initially struggle with abstract concepts or experimental techniques, so I break topics into manageable steps, provide relatable examples, and encourage active exploration. This fosters comprehension, confidence, and curiosity in students.
Outside of teaching, I participate in research, lab experiments, and ecological projects, which enrich my lessons with practical insights. Watching students grow from uncertainty to mastery, curiosity, and analytical confidence is immensely rewarding. Supporting learners in understanding life processes while cultivating critical thinking and independent inquiry is the most fulfilling aspect of my professional journey.
