About Sana
Hi, this is Sana. I have been teaching biology for a long time and have mentored many students for competitive biology exams like AP biology, Medical entrance exams, officer level exams (BPSC AEDO GS) and have experience with CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, Virginia SOL curriculi. I also carry experience in teaching mathematics and science to primary, middle and secondary school students.
I have finished my graduation in Biotechnology from Panjab University and secured top position in the university merit list. I have qualified NEET medical entrance exam and secured rank 165 in IIT JAM examination which is required for masters in IITs, IISc and IISERs. Alongside, I appeared for Gratitute Aptitude Test (GAT-B) and bagged rank 40. Currently, I'm pursuing my masters in Bioinformatics at the prestigious Savitribai Phule Pune University (famously known as Oxford of the East) via DBT funded fellowship through GAT-B exam. I am passionate about computational biology and developing softwares for drug development and cancer research.
I have gained research experience through dissertation program at Council of Scientific and Industrial Research - Institute of Microbial Technology (CSIR-IMTECH). My thesis project is based on Laccase (enzyme/protein) production, purification and industrial applications.
