About Sevi
Hello! I am a Biology tutor with an MSc degree and over 4 years of experience teaching 200+ students across GCSE, A-Level, and university level. I cover the complete Biology curriculum with genuine passion — Cell Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Human Physiology, Ecology, Evolution, Microbiology, and Plant Biology — and I am experienced with all major exam boards. I teach Biology by connecting individual facts and processes into coherent, visual understanding of how living systems work — using detailed diagrams, colour-coded flowcharts, and concept maps that make even the most complex multi-stage biological processes easy to follow, understand, and retain. I believe strongly in visual learning as a tool for Biology, and students who build their understanding visually retain information far more effectively than those who rely on written notes alone.
For essay and extended-answer questions I teach an explicit structured framework — point, mechanism, example, link — that students practise repeatedly with real past exam questions until it is completely second nature. I cover data interpretation, graphical analysis, and experimental design thoroughly in every relevant session, ensuring students are fully prepared for the practical and analytical dimensions of modern Biology exams. All lessons are tailored precisely to the student's exam board specification, and past paper practice is central at every stage.
