About Ejemen
I am a Biomedical Engineering student at Georgia Institute of Technology with experience tutoring through both NHS and freelance tutoring. Having grown up as the oldest of four siblings, I developed strong communication, patience, and mentoring skills that help me connect with students and understand how they learn best. Throughout high school, I consistently excelled in mathematics, earning a 1500 SAT score with a 770/800 in the math section, as well as A’s in Honors Geometry, Honors Algebra III, AP Calculus AB, and AP Calculus BC. I have continued to succeed with A's in college-level mathematics courses including Linear Algebra and Multivariable Calculus. My goal as a tutor is to help students build confidence, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and develop a holistic understanding of mathematics.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my patience and ability to meet students where they are academically. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s individual learning needs and focus on building both confidence and understanding. My lessons typically begin by assessing a student’s current grasp of a topic, followed by clear conceptual explanations and guided practice problems that reinforce the material. I also emphasize problem-solving strategies and test-taking techniques that help students approach math more effectively and independently. As a Biomedical Engineering student at Georgia Institute of Technology, I tutor high school students at all levels.
