About Charlotte
Hi! I’m passionate about biology and have always enjoyed learning and understanding how living things work. I’ve achieved high grades throughout my studies, including a degree in Biomedical Science, and I’m currently pursuing postgraduate Medicine. I love using the knowledge I’ve gained to help students feel confident and excited about biology. My tutoring style is clear and patient—I break down tricky topics into easy-to-understand steps and tailor lessons to each student’s needs. Whether you’re struggling with certain concepts or aiming for top grades, I’m here to support you every step of the way. Biology is such a fascinating subject with real-world connections, and I enjoy making lessons engaging and relevant so you can see how it applies beyond the classroom. My lessons are structured, engaging, and carefully tailored to meet the needs of each individual student. I follow my own six-week lesson plans, which are fully aligned with the exam board syllabus to ensure students cover everything they need in preparation for their exams. Throughout the course, I provide high-quality, clear, and effective revision resources that students can keep and use for their independent study between sessions. These resources include topic summaries, exam-style questions, revision checklists, and key diagrams – all designed to make revision more manageable and effective. I strongly believe that science, and biology in particular, should feel accessible and enjoyable. I aim to create a relaxed, supportive, and encouraging environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes, and learning from them. My lessons are interactive, with plenty of opportunities for discussion, active learning, and practice to help reinforce understanding. As a Biomedical Science graduate and current postgraduate medical student, I’m able to bring real-world examples and applications of biology into my teaching, which helps students see the relevance of what they’re learning beyond the exam. Whether a student is aiming for top grades or simply wants to feel more confident in the subject, my lessons are designed to build knowledge steadily, strengthen exam technique, and ultimately help them achieve their goals.
