About Lian
I am a recent Biomedical Science graduate and I have 6 years tutoring experience of children of mixed abilities between Key Stages 1-4 in English, Maths and Science.
Having tutored at most, 6 students per hour, I have developed excellent time management and organisational skills in regards to preparing and teaching tuition sessions.

I am able to support my students by adapting my teaching style to their needs. For example, I often create worksheets and activities along with clear explanations of a method, topic or exam technique. This is usually followed up by practise questions and mock papers to help my students to consolidate their knowledge and get used to answering exam questions. For each lesson, my students and parents are given both written and verbal feedback on what was covered in the lesson, set homework and the student's progress. By doing this, I have helped many students to gain top scores in their exams.
