About Leah
I am currently a university student at King's College London and I have found that the quality of my professor affects how much I enjoy a certain subject, and the same can be said for when I was at school. I have had teachers who have made me enjoy subjects I didn't think I could enjoy, and who have understood the teaching methods that work uniquely for me, and my appreciation to those teachers made me want to help others who are struggling. I loved tutoring from the day I started and it made me so happy to see my students understanding things they were seriously struggling with and enjoying their time learning with me. The enjoyment I get from helping others is why I am studying to eventually become a doctor.

I like to begin my teaching by understanding how a student's mind works in the first session. I then use this information to create a unique teaching method that is suitable for them, as not all individuals learn and study in the same way. I also like to find a way to help my students enjoy Maths, even if they find it tricky. The typical length of my lessons is 1-1.5 hours and I have tutored GCSE-level Maths students both living in my area and further out for 2 years. I can teach both GCSE-level Maths students and students of younger ages who are not yet at GCSE level.
