About Aleksandra
I am a student in the University of Surrey, halfway through a Biomedical Sciences degree. The modules I have chosen and focused on have imparted strong analytical skills. My ambition is my leading power, speaking four foreign languages among which are Bulgarian, Russian, French and English - is not quite enough, therefore I am looking forward to studying Spanish this year.
My laboratory experience includes working at LB Lact Bas - a laboratory established in 2000, specialised in applied science and developing biotechnology. The team is headed by Professor Maria Baltadzhieva.
During this period, I improved my laboratory techniques as well as I gained knowledge in the field of pharmacokinetics, due to my work with microorganisms with probiotic properties such as Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus.

Apart from my work in the field of science and medicine, I have been working as a PR agent and an international model, and a babysitter.
Furthermore, I have been given lessons in Russian.
My work experience in different fields makes me a good teacher due to my ability to meet expectations, complete tasks on time and keep the other people motivated.
