About Mikal
I have always had a passion for science and enjoy learning about how scientists can utilise this understanding to make a difference in the healthcare system and the world around us. I want to inspire the future generation of scientists to show how biology is cool. When broken down, different biological functions work in similar ways and is ultimately fascinating.

I teach through a combination of methods such as:
- Breaking down important concepts
- Past paper questions
- Exam and revision techniques
- Personalised methods to suit the needs of the student
Lessons can range from 45 minutes up to 2 hours and I teach GCSE students (ages 14-16) and A Level students (age 16+)
I hold a master's degree in biomedical sciences and have tutored since the age of 14. Most recently, I was part of the 'parent scheme' at my university where I tutored my younger peers.
