About Sara
I am a biomedical sciences student in my first year offering to teach GCSE chemistry according to the curriculum. I have experience in teaching GCSE science for over 2 years in small classes of up to 10 as well as individual sessions. Most of my students go on to take sciences at A level and have achieved grades ranging from 9 to 6.

I usually give lessons to year 10 students in preparations for their final GCSE year as well as year 11 students who need to consolidate their knowledge in chemistry. My lessons begin with going over the subject matter for the first half of the lesson and spending the second half applying this knowledge using past exam paper questions of increasing level. Every 4 weeks I will also introduce a small test that I have produced based on the previous month of information that was taught. Based on these test results I will decide whether certain subjects should be taught again, this ensures that there are no weak spots in the knowledge of the student. In addition to this I will also be regularly handing out homework every week which will be marked and given back with comments.
