About Kourosh
As a current biotechnology student and a former Biology Olympiads participant, college biology and high school science are among the subjects with which I can help most efficiently. Owing to my 1-year experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL), I highly value student feedback and constantly fine-tune my dynamic approach to teaching, be it science or foreign languages. Drawing upon my experience working as a biology tutor, I tend to cater to the needs of individual students by continually receiving feedback regarding their progress while trying to construct a conceptual and then a practical framework of how biological disciplines are intertwined, endeavoring to construct a systematic understanding of biological concepts. I also take a multidisciplinary approach to teaching high school science and math subjects (including physics, chemistry, and biology), while trying to work out core concepts within each of these subjects.
My classes may be adapted to the needs of junior school students as well as college students, especially those aimed at SAT preparation and introductory college lessons. Student feedback is of utmost importance and rest assured that your I tailor my lessons to your needs!
