About Ryan
Hi, I’m Ryan, a qualified Chemistry teacher with over 7 years of experience teaching GCSE and A-Level Chemistry in UK schools.
I hold a PGCE and QTS, and I'm passionate about making Chemistry both accessible and engaging for all my students.
Throughout my teaching career, I’ve worked with a diverse range of students, helping them overcome challenges and build the confidence they need to succeed. I’m particularly skilled at breaking down complex concepts and tailoring my approach to match each student's learning style. Whether you need help with specific topics, exam preparation, or general understanding, I can guide you through it.
I’m a member of The Tutors' Association and I’m fully DBS certified, ensuring that I offer both professional and safe tutoring. I’m committed to helping you achieve your goals and will provide you with all the support you need, both during lessons and between sessions.

Perfect! Ryan has just started tutoring my daughter for her Applied Science BTec (year 13). From the first lesson, it has become clear that Ryan will be able to help her comprehend the complex scientific experiments and consolidate her knowledge. He is helping her reach answers on her own, which I think is the mark of a true teacher. Very happy we have found Ryan, I would highly recommend him.

Ryan has been such a phenomenal help, as a single dad helping with homework can be hard enough. The sciences are not my thing and, a little while back, around exam time I decided to reach out to help my boy. Ryan's help has not only gone as far as my boy getting great results, he has gained confidence and skills that get him recognised in class. But Ryan had the patience and skillset to also help me understand the material so that I can be there for my son. This experience has actually brought us closer together, and with A levels coming up soon we are confident we can get the results he needs. So all the best to Ryan, we couldn't recommend him enough!!
