About Niya
Hi, my name is Niya Nazrin. I achieved an A* in IGCSE math and am currently a final-year accounting student.
To be very honest, I didn’t always like math—in fact, I used to struggle with it! My math teachers were often strict and stern, and I realized that their teaching style didn’t match the way I learned best. Over time, I discovered that everyone has their own unique way of understanding math, and it was when I recognized this that I finally began to improve.
This realization inspired me to help students who feel frustrated with math, just like I once did. I’m here to teach in a way that works for you, adapting to your learning style and making math something you can enjoy. Now, I genuinely love solving math problems and finding the right answers—it’s become a rewarding challenge. I believe math can be fun, and I’m here to help you discover that too. Let's make learning math a positive and empowering experience together!

In my lessons, I make sure students feel involved every step of the way. We’ll start each session with a quick recap of what we covered last time where this helps keep things fresh and builds confidence. I guide students through each concept slowly, encouraging them to ask questions (even the smallest ones!). This way, they don’t just learn how to solve a problem, but also why each step matters. I also customize practice exercises that start easy and gradually get more challenging, so students feel comfortable as they progress. Each lesson is one hour long, providing a focused and productive session. With three classes per week.
I achieved an A* in IGCSE mathematics and am currently in my final year of a Bachelor’s in Accounting, which deepens my analytical perspective in math. I have successfully taught students from grades 7 to 11, tailoring my approach to meet each individual’s needs. These lessons are perfect for students in grades 7 to 10 who want to build a solid understanding of math or advance to higher levels of mastery.
