About Alicia
Owning a photography studio for over 40 years forced me to speak not only with people of my profession but most of all helped me to develop relationships with my clients and suppliers.
My studio gave me the opportunity to speak with people of all ages and backgrounds, and that is what makes me the ideal instructor of English as a second language.

As someone that came from Argentina as an adult, not knowing English, I know the importance of being able to understand what others are saying and speak English correctly.
For that reason, I will put emphasis on establishing a dialogue about everyday subjects like weather, traffic, news, their jobs, etc.
To make the lessons interesting the students will select a book in English, read out loud several paragraphs, and tell me what they read in their own words.
