I am passionate about helping YOU! Engineering sure is a tricky subject, and I was in your position once. I didn't quite have the support I wanted (back then!) so my goal is to make sure I provide fun, engaging and motivational sessions for you. Not only to build a great session, but to give you life long skills and most of all suit your learning needs. I break everything down right from the beginning in a step by step process. When learning new questions, I assume that you do not have prior knowledge.
I have a student focused approach, where we solve Engineering problems together. This is where you will be in the zone of proximal development.
I was born and raised in England, and will speak slowly at level you will understand. I am friendly and look to help and encourage. My expertise is working with international students, but of course everyone is welcome.
I aim to help you with upcoming tests, homework and the dreaded exam preparation!:)
I have been a tutor for almost 5 years now. 1 year experience in China and 4 years here in New Zealand - teaching Mechanical Engineering. Before this, I was actually a guitar tutor, so feel free to reach out for guitar lessons too!
My lessons are for all ages and levels up to first year university students. I can either help you through past exam questions (if provided), homework/coursework, and tailor some sessions.
