About David
I have been teaching in this way, in schools (working with small classes or small groups) for 4 years, but am new to private tutoring. I have taught between 80 and 100 students. In the schools I taught in, we didn't have exams; we used different indicators to demonstrate learning. Students Exam Results will be as important to me as to my students, as they will build my reputation.

In recent years, I have focused mainly on teaching in Primary and Early Secondary School Years, but am willing to try with all ages. I don't feel qualified to tutor students at degree level, having left University quite some time ago. I can help students at Beginner level, GCSE or A-Level.
My lessons start with engagement, something to put us in the mood for learning; then students are invited to recall learning from the previous lesson, so we can build on top of what was previously learned. New ideas are then introduced. Then students record what they have learned.
I like to teach with a lot of imagination, even artistically, but will assess whether this approach is suitable. I can also help students with memory and recall.
