About Evie
I am a student in Brisbane State High School. The subjects I take are Mathematical Methods(Maths B), Specialist Maths(Maths C), Physics, Chemistry, Economics and English general. I have achieved straight As in all of my subjects in 2020. I have tutoring experience in teaching grade 11 chemistry and grade 7 Maths. I started tutoring a grade 11 student in 2020 whose chemistry grades went from C to B. My grade 7 student’s maths grade went from A- to A+ and I started teaching ahead for this student. Both of my students love my teaching style. I really enjoy sharing the knowledge I have with others as well as helping other people to achieve their goal. My teaching method is using PowerPoint. I will give you a rough timeline for what we’re learning in this lesson. Then I will give a quick quiz to revise what we’ve learnt last lesson. After that I will seperate the knowledge we’re learning into different sections and teach them step by step. On each slide of PowerPoint, I will have the key points and some visual representations to help you understand a certain concept. During this process you can ask me questions about the things that you don’t understand. For hard questions like complex familiar or unfamiliar questions, I will show you how to do an example question step by step first and I will have a similar question for you to practise. At end I will prepare Homework questions for you. Homework is not compulsory because I believe if you have the ambition to improve yourself you will want to finish the homework.
