About Sheh
Are you or your child looking for some extra help with math this semester? I am a Houston-based IT professional and Dean's List graduate offering personalized math tutoring. Working in tech means I deal with complex logic daily, but I also know that learning math can sometimes feel frustrating.
I pride myself on being patient and approachable. Before moving into IT, I spent five years in the hospitality industry, which taught me how to communicate clearly, listen to people's needs, and adapt on the fly. I specialize in breaking down difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps so my students can succeed and feel confident in the classroom. Available for both online sessions and local meetups!

My tutoring method or approach is to create a structured environment and give information in a relatable way. By approaching the information to be learned in a way you can flexibly understand. I break down topics, then encourage student to build connections, name them, and then explain their importance.
In a typical lesson I want the student to come to me with their strengths and weaknesses and expectations they have. I have access to interactive games and worksheets with practice problems, which are crucial because they help the student build self-efficacy with the subject
