About Ivana
I am passionate about scientific communication. Understanding science to me is more important than knowing the "big words" that come with it. I want to make biology and its most important discoveries accessible to all, especially youth through simple and concise scientific communication without jargon. As such, my lessons very much follow that communication style where simple language is used to describe hard to digest biological concepts.

The lessons are centred around a core topic following the IB Oxford biology study guide and each lesson follows a subtopic from that guide. My teaching style is curious. I try to answer questions with a follow up question to encourage critical thinking and problem solving. As a Biology degree holder, I focus on data analysis and problem solving as a core component of my lessons for students to understand a question rather than just memorize information.
