About Shome
I am Shome Sarkar, an experienced tutor that is very keen on nurturing the learning process of young GCSE and A-Level students. As a recent Physics graduate from the University of Manchester, I take great pride in offering the best hand I can to help students with improving their understanding and grades through my esteemed skills in paying attention to detail and communication. I aim to understand the strengths and weaknesses of my students and work accordingly. - I like to teach students in 90 minute blocks, covering all the basic information, formulae and elaborating on it to help them understand their studies better. I try my best to link these concepts with examples of real world applications where possible so that they engage with the subject and don't feel bored. Periodically I will ask them questions related to the content to make sure they are actively recalling the information as they are learning it
