About Noemie
With 6 years of experience as a Physics tutor, I have had the opportunity to guide students through different stages of their academic journey, from foundational K–12 science to college first-year physics. I enjoy transforming difficult topics into understandable ideas that students can confidently apply.
My teaching philosophy is simple: students learn best when they understand the reasoning behind a concept. Instead of encouraging rote learning, I use step-by-step explanations, visual approaches, real-world connections, guided practice, and carefully selected questions to build genuine comprehension. I adapt each session according to the learner’s background, pace, strengths, and challenges.
My experience covers a wide range of areas, including kinematics, dynamics, Newton’s laws, work and energy, momentum, circular motion, gravitation, electricity, circuits, magnetism, waves, optics, thermodynamics, and introductory modern physics. I can also assist with assignments, revision, test preparation, conceptual doubts, and numerical problem-solving.
I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. Every difficulty becomes an opportunity to strengthen understanding and improve confidence.

My lessons turn physics from a collection of formulas into a subject students can genuinely understand. I teach learners from K–12 to college first year, adjusting every session to suit their knowledge, objectives, and preferred learning style.
We begin by identifying what the student already knows and where difficulties arise. From there, I build understanding step by step using intuitive explanations, real-world connections, diagrams, worked examples, and guided practice. Topics may include kinematics, Newton’s laws, work and energy, rotational motion, momentum, gravitation, electricity, circuits, magnetism, waves, optics, heat, and introductory modern physics.
I believe effective tutoring should develop reasoning, not memorization. During lessons, students are encouraged to predict outcomes, analyze situations, explain their thinking, and solve problems with increasing independence. When a topic feels difficult, I break it into manageable parts and use different approaches until the idea becomes clear.
My sessions are suitable for students who want to strengthen fundamentals, improve classroom performance, prepare for tests, complete challenging assignments, or build confidence before entering college-level physics.
Every lesson has a clear purpose and a comfortable pace. My aim is to help students become accurate problem-solvers, thoughtful learners, and confident physics students who can apply their knowledge beyond the classroom.
