About Owen
I’ve spent more than 5 years helping heritage Spanish speakers gain confidence, accuracy, and pride in their bilingual identity. With a background in Mathematics and Actuarial Science, I bring structure and clarity to complex grammar and sentence construction. My lessons are designed to expand vocabulary, refine writing, and encourage thoughtful expression. We go beyond conversation to explore formal and academic uses of Spanish. I believe understanding grammar leads to greater freedom in communication. I also integrate cultural insights, exploring how Spanish connects across countries and communities. My teaching recognizes that reconnecting with a heritage language can feel emotional or vulnerable. That’s why I teach with patience, respect, and empathy. Every student’s experience is valid and valued. Together, we strengthen fluency while honoring personal history. My goal is simple: to help you embrace your heritage fully and express yourself with confidence and pride.
