About Daria
Hello there! My name is Daria, and I am CELTA-certified teacher with a Canadian Business Diploma and 5 years of professional experience. I have a double professional background in business and literary studies, and I completed my education in St. Catharines, Canada and Rome, Italy. I enjoy teaching business classes, using Oxford Business English textbooks and additional materials. English is my mother tongue, and my Italian is at B2 level. Good morning! I'm Daria. I am the native English teacher, graduated in Canada with a two-year diploma (Niagara College, Business General) and an American degree in English letters obtained in Rome.

I practice the communicative methodology, therefore the student learns the language in communicative situations and develops receptive and productive skills (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking). First of all, the student completes a questionnaire on Google Forms with questions about his experience with the English language, his educational objectives, the types of tasks and responsibilities at work and also the interests. In this way, I prepare a needs analysis and choose the materials for the course. Currently, I have two female students working in the consulting field and we use the English for Human Resources (Oxford) book.
