About Alex
Born in West Germany (American father and German mother), English, German and Spanish were predominantly spoken. I studied Art History, Philosophy and Social Science in Frankfurt / Mannheim (Germany), Madrid (Spain), Buenos Aires (Argentina) and NYC (USA) Cuba and Brazil. Between 2010-2013 I lived in Paris. 2013-2016 I called Tokyo my home. In 2010 I earned a Masters Degree in Social Science

The great responsability and reward for the teacher is to be a positive role model and to help not only to learn English, but also to provide guidance; empathically; to an early or new stage of communication and learning. Working with the latter group, where cognitive skills and learning abilities are much more advanced and attention span lasts longer. One-to-one lessons, according to my experience, makes it a lot easier for the teacher to individualize teaching style, wheras group lessons require more emphasis on pluralizing teaching style.
