About Noor
I am a recent graduate from SDSU, with a bachelor’s in accounting and finance. I have tutored kids in elementary school and middle school in all subjects, especially English and Math. My goal is not to teach by saying but rather by doing. Practice and discipline are the key to success, which are traits I want to emphasize for all the students I teach.

As an immigrant who mastered English as a second language, I understand the challenges non-native speakers face. My personal experience, combined with my academic success, allows me to empathize with students and provide effective strategies for overcoming language barriers. I have come at the top of my class all throughout my academic years, earning Summa Cum Laude designation from my university.
Each lesson starts with a brief review of previous material, followed by an introduction to new topics. I then engage students with practical exercises, discussions, and real-life scenarios. The lesson concludes typically with a Q&A session and expectations in terms of any homework or preparations for next lesson.
