About Arjun
I am an undergraduate Business Management student at the University of Bath.
I took both Maths and Further Maths at GCSE level gaining an A* and A respectively. I pursued both subjects to A-level and obtained an A* average.
I have worked closely teaching many students at a variety of learning camps as well as helping out with peer mentoring schemes throughout my school life. This involved helping out at after-school workshops for GCSE level students during my A-level studies.
This previous teaching experience combined with my interest in the subject has led me to want to further my tutoring portfolio through Superprof. If selected, I hope to be able to deliver a high standard of tutoring on a consistent basis.

I aim to provide students with a sufficient understanding of core mathematical concepts to help them to think for themselves and apply these concepts to exam style questions. This is targeted at GCSE level or below.
My methods of instruction will include starting the lesson off with a short and concise explanation into the topic that is to be covered as well as working through a practice question. I will then provide examples of increasing difficulty based on the student's level of proficiency as demonstrated in the answering of previous questions. I will conclude the lesson with a question from an exam past paper, offering help as required before providing a quick recap of the key points covered.
I would describe my teaching style as patient, thorough and centered around the student's understanding of a topic rather than a more robotic approach aimed at providing short term results.
