As a complete beginner with no prior experience in learning Chinese, it was very impressive that she was able to produce relatively accurate pinyin pronunciation in the very first lesson. This provides an excellent foundation for rapid progress.

In the upcoming lessons, we will focus on building and reinforcing the pinyin system, with particular attention to pronunciation accuracy and tone correction. At the same time, the course will introduce practical, high-frequency conversational skills, including basic greetings, asking for directions, numbers, and ordering food.

The goal is to help her develop functional communication skills within a short period of time, so she can confidently use Chinese in real-life situations during her trip.

Angus is a highly motivated student with great enthusiasm for learning Chinese. He is proactive in class and able to grasp grammar points quickly, often applying them flexibly to new examples.
