I am an Education, English, Drama and the Arts student at St. John's College, Cambridge.
I have been nannying/tutoring for the past three years so have lots of experience working with children and young adults. My main areas for tutoring are Primary English/Maths/Science/Humanities, GCSE English/Maths/Science/Latin and A Level English. I also have experience with general study skills/university admissions tutoring.

I am a highly organised, hardworking individual with a range of experience which has prepared me to work in lots of different environments. This year I am hoping to take on some keen new tutoring clients online, alongside studying for my degree at the University of Cambridge.
In the past three years I have worked with children and young adults aged between 2 and 17. I absolutely love working with younger children on developing their literacy and communication skills (a topic which I am studying as part of my degree) and feel that I have become well versed in making the drudgery that can be primary school homework into something fun and engaging for my tutees. I have also worked with GCSE students in managing revision alongside their homework, aiding them with study skills and helping them prepare for exams.
Throughout the first stretch of the pandemic I was working with a family whose school was unable to stay open for them despite both parents being essential workers. Therefore, I took on the role of the home school tutor, scheduling their days and going through their lessons with them. I feel this has given me great experience in understanding how to keep primary school kids focused and enjoying their studies.
I am deeply passionate about working with young people, hence my choosing to study Education, English, Drama and the Arts at university. I hope to engage my students in innovative ways and make their education something they cherish and enjoy.
