About Jake
I am a Cambridge graduate who has recently completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Law (PGDL), with distinction.
Originally I focussed on Oxbridge admissions tutoring but, in recent years have branched into subject-specific work. I have experience tutoring in History, Politics and Law, all of which I have taught in summer school settings as well.

Having recently achieved a distinction on all my PGDL modules, I know exactly what it takes to score highly in each subject and across the course.
My tutoring will mirror my own approach to the course, with a focus on exam technique, by working on three key skills:
(1) maximising efficiency in reading the extensive textbook material;
(2) distilling core concepts into succinct and practical checklists;
(3) logically applying these to problem scenarios, both written and MCQ.
Taken together, these skills will help you to cut through overwhelming volumes of material, placing you in the best position to successfully and accurately apply legal knowledge in a timed exam scenario.
Tutoring sessions will generally last an hour and be held online, although face-to-face in central London is possible, if preferred.
