About Grayson
As a child and teenager I was in love with mathematics because of how dependable and consistent the systems were once I understood them. A little extra attention to the ways that maths gets applied in the real world to fields like design and construction helped me get really excited about learning it. I found later down the road that rather than being abstract and dry, it was actually an amazing way of understanding how the world around us works. Together, we will find ways to make maths make sense in the real world, and along the way I hope to show you how it can link in with other interesting areas in surprising ways. Qualifications: My love of maths led to a love of logic, which helped me get a degree in Philosophy from the University of Cambridge, and an understanding of Statistics helped me pick up a Masters in Psychology from the University of Edinburgh. In the run up, I achieved an A* at Maths A Level, an A at Physics AS, and an A* at GCSE Maths and Physics.

Together, in 30-60 minute lessons, we will focus on breaking down and understanding the areas of mathematics that you’d like to work on in a way that is engaging and easy to grasp. Maths can seem overwhelming at first, but are easy and simple to understand once you get to grips with how each topic builds on the last, and I look forward to helping you build a system to do just that!
