About Baichuan
I have tutored over 10 students at A2, AS, GCSE and KS3 level for mathematics as well as AS physics.
As a ex-student who has just gone through the whole UK educational system, I feel that I have a personal and relatively fresh experience of the Material Covered up to A level. I aim to make sure that the student understands the basic idea/principle behind every theorem and then be able to apply that knowledge in solving questions of increasing difficulty.
During lessons I would of course challenge students but never so much that they lose confidence in their ability which would then inhibit their progress. I would provide a lesson that presented a concept clearly and gave students the opportunity to use or practise it in a relevant and active way.
I would always try to have an encouraging and approachable manner, whilst being diligent in my targets for the students progress.

I have always had a passion for Mathematical Sciences since a young age. Both while studying and in my free time I pursue Maths and Physics to great depths. While studying at school I successfully gained at least 97 percent in all of my A level modules. I also have extensive experience tutoring A level mathematics and physics since I have been tutoring students of various age/level since high school.
My interest also lies in various Challenges and Olympiads. I was a member of the UK International Mathematical Olympiad squad, and I represented UK in International Linguistics Olympiad. In addition, I reached top 30 in the British Physics Olympiad.
I recently graduated with an overall 2.1 from Cambridge.
